SPRING AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS for OCEANSIDE MIDDLE SCHOOL

All Programs are FREE.
Weekly kit drop offs for all Virtual Clubs will be provided for each student at the address you provide address.
Dropoffs will follow RSU #13 COVID Safety Protocols and Procedures. Permission to Participate


  • I permit my child to participate in afterschool activities and receive a delivery kit at the address we have provided.   

  • I release afterschool staff, volunteers and Board of Directors from responsibility or expense for any injuries incurred by my child while participating in afterschool programs.

  • I understand that my child will be asked periodically to fill out surveys about participation in this program, including the Survey of Afterschool Youth Outcomes (SAYO).  I understand that I may be asked to fill out a parent survey periodically.

  • I give my consent for my child’s photograph, name, quotes, and artwork to be used in afterschool publicity and fundraising materials.

  • I understand that afterschool staff may contact school staff or other service providers to discuss my child’s school records, standardized test scores, grades, behavioral issues, medications, correctional system involvement, and other issues.


Responsibilities of Students and Parents:  These agreements are in place to ensure the success and enjoyment of all youth.  If a youth fails to follow these rules, he or she may be asked to leave the activity or program. Students agree to: wear clothing that is appropriate for each activity; not bring or be under the influence of drugs, alcohol or cigarettes; no weapons, to make others feel welcome, to respect all adults, youth and self.  Agree to: a zero tolerance policy for any bullying behavior. Bullying is the use of aggression with the intention of hurting another person.  Bullying can be unfriendly, excluding, tormenting, pushing, kicking, hitting, punching or any use of violence, racial taunts, graffiti, gestures, unwanted physical contact or sexually abusive comments;  homophobic, transphobic, or focusing on the issue of sexuality, name-calling, sarcasm, spreading rumors, teasing, cyber or text bullying. All students and parents agree to a no-bullying atmosphere.
